ASRL Power Rankings: Round 2

Round has come and gone and some have stumbled, some have risen and some have looked pitiful. Here is a look at power rankings after round 2.

1.Sydney Oilers

The Oilers were able to overcome the always plucky Orcas to continue a solid start to the season. However, Matt Moylan will be sitting out at least the next two rounds with a torn foreskin.

2.Fairfield Stallions

Fairfield continue to shock the nay-sayers year after year and have had a perfect start to 2019 with two wins and the three stars being three of f season pick ups.

3.Adelaide Attitude

Adelaide managed to grift another win with a last minute one point victory over Canberra thanks to Rhyse Martin's crack kicking.

4.Auckland Orcas

Just didn't have the stamina to go with Sydney in round 2 suffering a disappointing loss.

5.Hull KR

Back to business for the champs in Round 2 with Adam Reynolds getting back his championship winning form of last season.

6.Glasgow Reapers

A loss after a good season opening win for Glasgow. A 7 week injury to star signing Richie Myler will not fill fans with shiny hope.

7.Melbourne Monsters

Back to the winners column for the 2018/19 minor premiers. Depth always helps them to prevail.

8.Capetown Ravens

Capetown have split the first two rounds with a win and a loss. Off season recruits Ben Barba, Cameron Smith and Nathan Brown need to stand up and be noticed.

9.Darwin Dragons

10.Canberra Carnage

Devastating heart break for Canberra losing in the last minute after being ahead all game versus Adelaide.

11.Gold Coast Crusade

The season starting championship favourite have had a horror start to 2019 and things dont get easier with low form and Adelaide up next.
