Rounds 4’s dross
Glasgow:
One thing they deliver consistently, losses, & there was another rlast week at the hands of Darwin.
Hard hit by injuries with Isreal falou, Josh Addo carr & Richard Myler missing, not many teams can lose that firepower & keep performing.
Don’t write them off just yet.
Fairfield
If you have Greg Bird playing in your side at lock, you simply have to hit the trade market.
Spoon favorites for mine. If Mitchell Pearce goes down, it could get real ugly.
Canberra
Hull hammered them, early signs of a crisis at the club.
Too much depth in some positions, weak as piss in others. Poorly balanced but they have the talent.
Joel Thompson joined the club this week to assist with some much needed depth.
Heartbreak at the club after some recent Kieran Foran news that sees his hopes of getting his old ratings back being dashed.
Melbourne
Some bazaar selections left fans scratching their beanie clad heads.
Mark Flanagan at 5/8 defies belief.
Joe Westerman floating around in the top grade, at this level, shows another club that needs to look at squad adjustments.
Fans are less than impressed at this point.
Sydney Oilers
The competitions juggernauts faltered big time this week, leaving coach Bossert with some concern the old days could be returning.
Cherry Evans Goalkicking at 5/10 this season isn’t helping things at all, still as unpopular as ever with teammates.
They will be super keen to get Moylan, Ferguson & Liam Farrell back into the side ASAP
Capetown
The coach had his mind on this far more important than football this week & it showed with the worst performance of the round.
Injuries & poor form need to be addressed ASAP.
Mark Percival being seen with his manager at Auckland this week, discussing the unknown, was also a concern to astute Capetown fans. It’s a long way to go from Capetown to Auckland for a friendly coffee.
