Darwin Dragons young gun David Fifita is locked in a Bali jail after reportedly being arrested following a brawl outside a Bali nightclub.
Fifita is holidaying in his off-season and it appears he has found trouble at the same nightclub as Fairfield’s Nelson Asofa-Solomona last month.
Channel 7 is reporting that a statement by Bali police confirms that a foreigner is being detained and has yet to be questioned about the incident.
“Based on the report, police went to the crime scene, asking witnesses and the victim. A bule (foreigner) that was allegedly the perpetrator was arrested,” said Kuta police chief Puta Ika Prabawa.
“The perpetrator was taken to Kuta police station for further investigation.
“The alleged perpetrator could not be interrogated yet as he is still under the influence of alcohol.”
The Dragons are aware of the situation and have an official on their way to Bali.
