Experts throughout both the developed and developing world took the return of Coach Michael Tatts Tatterson to the helm of an ASRL franchise with mixed feelings. Having come and gone from the ASRL over the years due to various scandals, the internet is rife with rumours and innuendo about the coaches mindset and dubious connections in the Middle East with photos adorning the coaches tea lounge including intimate photos with notorious world leaders such as Saddam Husseyin, Muammer Kaddafi and Australian basketball legend Andrew Gaze.
Under the new guidance of Coach Tatts, the ASRL granted permission from the typical league stronghold of Fairfield to the mysterious and untapped fields of Perth. However, the coal mining community has not taken to league as one might expect and the club has once again found itself in financial chaos with club officials and players openly aflame on late payments and the coach once again absent when needed most.
Perth are almost a certainty of garnering the spoon this season with only languishing Sydney Oilers as the other likely candidate.
What's left of the Perth board is desperately scowering the rugby league scaffolds and basements in order to prorcure anyone with a modum of coaching ability to hear their call and rebuild this once noble club...But are Perth to far adrift for even the daringest of potential coaches to risk mental and physical ruin upon.
Truly dark times on the western coast of Australia.
