Our first Mad Barry starts next Monday night at 8PM (Qld Time). This draft is based on which club needs the most help with some future firepower. Clubs are ranked according to how many elite players they have in their team at the end of Round 5. An elite player is an 8/8 or a 9
+ in attack or defence. The less players a club has of this level, the higher up the draft they will be.
If there is a tie between clubs, the team who finished higher up the ladder at the end of the previous regular season will get the higher pick. I never want to encourage losing to get good draft picks.
Draft picks ARE allowed to be traded out. I believe every coach should get the greatest benefit they can from the pick wether they trade it out or retain the draft pick.
