Teen sensation and heart throb Joseph Suaalii is set to make his ASRL debut this weekend with his beloved Adelaide Attitudes feeder team the Kensington Highrollers. Originally thought of as a long term prospect at Attitude rivals Aucklands HQ, it is thought that behind the scenes bickering at the New Zealand franchise caused a fracture between coach Bill 'Salem' Townsend and the family of the youngster seen as a once in a generation player by many in the know. Suaalii, who can play anywhere from 1-7, was said to be swayed by Adelaides developmental system, which has seen three of the last 4 RSC championship winning teams mentored by Coach Anthony 'angel face' McElroy. The chance to play under childhood hero Mitch Barnett was said to be another key factor. Although only 17 going into next season, it is believed that the Attitude have applied to ASRL head honcho Roger Bossert for Suaalii to get special permission to play in firsts next season despite being under 18.
