INCORRECTLY RATED PLAYERS AFTER RE-RATES
An issue came up regarding the rating of Adam Reynolds rating over the weekend. Mack does an amazing job with re-rating players every two seasons from re-rates. In saying that, the man is human and can make the odd error.
In response to this issue, I have come up with the following guidelines.
*After final ratings, it is the responsibility of each coach to check the ratings of their players or to leave it in the capable hands of Mack.
*It will be upto coaches will be able to signal incorrect ratings of players prior to the start of contract bidding for that offseason. Once contract bidding starts, the final ratings that Mack sets out will be set in stone and can only be changed via a re-rate once the new season starts.
GAMES SIMMED WITH INCORRECT ORDERS
I have made some changes regarding games that I sim with incorrect orders. As per the old rules, I will re-sim ANY finals game where the exact orders have not been actioned regardless of how minor the error is. However, I have made some changes regarding regular season games.
*If a team wins despite an incorrect order, the result will stand unless the winning team chooses to have a rematch.
*If a team loses due to an incorrect order, the coach has the right to request a rematch. The request will need to be made by 10pm Monday night or the result will stand. The request will be judged by myself according to whether I think the error or errors had a significant impact on the match. I would not take the decision of replaying a match lightly. For example, a request along the lines of putting a 7/7 player in instead of an 8/7 type player would be the type of appeal that would be denied. An incorrect captaincy would not be grounds for a rematch. On the other hand, if I put in a 5/5 at halfback instead of an 8/5, I would replay that match as my error would have a significant impact on the match. If I made a number of errors due to me not changing orders from the previous week, that sort of match would also face a replay.
RSC PLAYERS FINALS ELIGIBILITY
For a player to be eligible to play in an RSC final, the player needs to be
*Under 7/7 in attack/defence rating (PL or RSC contracted).
*Any RSC listed player regardless of rating. A player can have an 8 or more in attack or defence from a stat appeal and still be listed as an rsc player for that season.
*Any player listed as a 7/7 or higher must have played 9 or more games for the RSC team before the end of the regular season. I can keep good track of this and can reveal those game counts from next round.
