Currently a fullback 9/7/7/6/6
Started the season at fullback, 13 games in total there this season, but the majority of his last 15 games have been at 6 or 7 (mostly at 6 but 4 games at 1/2 for St Helens).
Then for England so far in WC, he has played at 6 in game 1, then a centre in game 2.
Has always been a borderline utility, but I'm asking for him to be repositioned to 6.
Defensivly tackling at 82% at 8 per game.
Ratings, I think 10/6/8/6/7 is about right. His kicking has been much more utilised since his move into halves. 12th in comp for attacking kicks
The way he has been this season, a 10 isnt pushing it.
12 tries 27 try assists- 3rd in comp 109 Tackle busts- 3rd in comp Top 20 for clean breaks 9th for offloads
WE have seen what he has done in the first 2 x WC matches.
There really isnt anything he isnt doing in attack.

In my heart of hearts, the bloke is a 9. But, Welsby is the best English player in the best team in the comp for the last two years. For that recognition, Im giving him the 10.
The only thing I have a dispute with is the position stat. The fact that his best position is to this day very debatable makes him a ute in my eyes. For England, he is definitely the team ute very much like how Michael Morgan had been used for rep teams. Even for club, it is debatable with guys like Jonny Lomax around. For this reason, Im open to you picking him as a six or ute. I'll vote yes to both those positions.
(6 or ute)/10/6/8/6/7

I think Welsby is a great player but just don't see as in that explosive 10 mould.
6 or utility 9/6/8/6/7
