Before I post the results of the grand finals, I'd like to extend a big thank you to you all. Being in the ASRL since 2000, it has been an absolute pleasure to meet so many great people and play a game that is based on a sport we all love....rugby league. While the last season and a half has been a tough slog, I have no regrets in spending a large chunk of my adult life involved with such a great game. The key to its success was people involvement. When that died out.....it has led to an end of an era. I have set up a NRL supercoach game. I have sent all of you an invite. If you didn't get it, Log onto this address and get into this comp. Not going to say goodbye. Who knows..Maybe one day this will all kick off again and be as prosperous as ever. If not, thanks for all the memories, guys. It has been an honour and a privlidge.

What a great finish to the ASRL. When the season started Redskins were struggling and long term injuries to Munster, Tomkins and Fages meant players playing out of position. Round 10 saw a thrashing by Gold Coast and a season low for Hull, but it started a long winning run. Redskins won their last 11 games, including 3 wins over season pacesetters Adelaide. A Grand Final win in the last season of the ASRL is something special, while at the same time sad. Many thanks to Roger for keeping the comp going over the last couple of seasons, along with worthy adversaries Mac, Bill, Matt, Dino, Hesky and many others who made this a wonderful conp to be involved in. I have learned to love the NRL and will continue to follow it. Hopefully we can keep in touch, it's been an absolute pleasure.

Cheers Padds, you have always been the quiet achiever congrats on your 5th Premiership. I've been a part of this competition on and off for over 20 years starting with the Redland Rhinos in Division 1 in the 2002/03 season to coaching the Gold Coast Crusade to 4 Premierships and plenty of different clubs in between. Thanks to everyone who has helped out and made the ASRL possible. I've already got a Supercoach team and added it to the league and have also entered the draft, look forward to seeing you guys there. My teams are the Brisbane Bucks in Classic and the Redcliffe Rhinos in Draft.
