With an amazing comeback victory the Melbourne Monsters have confirmed a spot in their first ASRL grand final. The team was trailing 18-0 at one stage before crawling back into the match to win 20-18 on the back of a solidat effort from bench half Stefan Ratchford who kicking the winning penalty goal. Melbourne junior team Geelong has also qualified for the RSC grand final.
Melbourne will fight it out with the winner of Hull and Adelaide with both teams missing a half in Cameron Munster and Shaun Johnson who have both been ruled out for the season.
Whatever happens this has truly been the best year in Melbournes history whose true grit has won them the hearts of ASRL fans worldwide including long time ageing benefactor Chris Walker Bush, whose millions of chinese yen put into upgrading the clubs facilities, have certainly paid off.
