Byron Brewer, Dylan Walker arrested over alleged assault.
Dylan Walker has been arrested and charged with assault following an incident in Sydney on Sunday night.
Police confirmed they were called to a restaurant in Narraweena after reports of a physical altercation.
Police have been told, a man left the restaurant and attempted to enter the vehicle of a woman, unknown to him, parked outside the restaurant," a police statement read.
"When confronted, the man allegedly became aggressive and was allegedly involved in a physical altercation, assaulting two men before fleeing."
Walker, 26, was arrested and taken to Manly Police Station shortly after the alleged incident.
The Auckland Orcas five-eighth or centre will appear in Manly Local Court on November 18, charged with two counts of common assault.
He was last year found not guilty of assaulting his partner, Alexandra Ivkovic, in a 2018 incident.
Police considered appealing the judgement on that occasion, though the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) denied the request.
The ASRL stood down Walker while he was facing those charges, seeing him miss a portion of the 2019 season.
It remains to be seen whether he will be stood down following the latest charge - common assault carries a maximum penalty of two years, lower than the 11-year threshold for an automatic stand-down.
The ASRL however reserves the right to stand players down at their discretion should they see fit.
Walker has five seasons to run on his Orcas deal, but could now be in jeopardy!
More to come.
