As another season enters the finals and but five remain, 2020/21 was full of surprises, be it reigning premiers Hull barely avoiding the spoon or Glasgow finally back in finals footy after a long winter away. So without further ado, here are the players who were the dominant first 13 this season. All 13 players will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Micheal Jacksons famous Neverland ranch in the US.
.Tom Trobojevic (Adelaide) - Turbo was electric from the back especially in the first half of the season.
.Liam Marshall (Auckland) - Top try scorer of the regular season, Marshall and King were the leagues most lethal combo.
.Kotoni Staggs (Merseyside) - A break out year Kotoni, cementing himself as a future rep player and almost perfect with the boot.
.Toby King (Auckland) - Poached from Adelaide last off season, King has been a lonely beacon of joy for the Orcas topping the ASRL in offloads along the way.
.Jermaine McGilvray (Hull) - In likely his last season for Hull, McGilvray never gave up.
.Jack Bird (Scandanavia) - Along side Kyle Flanaghan, Bird has been instrumental in putting together a miraculous minor premiership.
.Nathan Cleary (Darwin) - Cleary was enjoying career best form through the majority of the season. If he can get back that form, Darwin might finally get that elusive first premiership.
.Moeaki Fotuaika (Darwin) - Fotuaika set the platform all season which allowed Cleary to dominate opposing teams.
.Joey Lussick (Adelaide) - Another player rising from obscurity this season, Lussick for both Kensington and Adelaide.
.Siosiua Taukeiaho (Adelaide) - New recruit Sio was everywhere being the workhorse of the team all season.
.Isaiah Papalli (Darwin) - The dragons unsung hero. Papalli had a career year completely outshining David Fafita every chance he got.
.Angus Crichton (Sydney) - The pearl in the musty clam that was Sydney this season.
.Joe Westerman (Glasgow) - Although Moses and Pearce get most of the credit, it was Englishman Joe's hand that has guided the Pirates back towards finals glory.
