Contract bidding will start this coming Monday at 8pm QLD time (22nd August).
CONTRACT BIDDING RULES
All bids must use the following template oir a variation of it that determines what the higher bid is as well as the club making the bid.
Old Club:Darwin Dragons
Old Bid:150k
New Bid:Hull Kingston Redskins
New Bid:155k
*All new Bids must be at least 5k more than the previous bid.
*Minimum Bid for a player is 100k for players 7/7 or more.
*Minimum Bid for a player under 7/7 is 50k.
*Coaches can assign up to 5 seasons to a won player.
*Coaches can bid on players from RSC teams that are not protected by that team's Safety Net. If the winning bid is less than 100k, the coach of the players team has the right to match the bid and keep the RSC player. The old coach has 12 hours to match the bid or not. If the player is at 100k or more, the auction continues under the 12-hour bidding rule.
*Bids CAN NOT BE DELETED or EDITED at any stage. Coaches who edit bids will be excluded from the rest of bidding for the period and may face harsh penalties that are so terrible that they are indescribable. If you make an obvious error in a post like one too many zero's for a bidding amount, leave the original post and make another post with the correct information.
*Coach MUST STAY UNDER THE CAP AT ALL TIMES during bidding. If a coach goes over the cap, the following punishments will be applied.
100k and under 250,000 fine
100k-500k 2 competition points
500k + 4 competition points and a free lobotomy.
*Bids are won when 24 hours have passed without a new bid. At the close of bidding this changes to 12 hours and continues until all players are won.
*While Mack and myself will do our best to make a running total on how much each coach has left to spend throughout bidding, Mack or myself are NOT responsible for any errors we may make with adding up totals. It is each coaches responsibility that they do not go over the salary cap at any point so please check your total as well. I've made a silly mistake myself through this process so don't be alarmed if you miscalculate your money slightly. Providing that you don't over the cap in a big way, the penalties will not be too heavy. There will be some leniency towards coaches who are very new to the game provided that they are not way over the cap.
Good luck all!!!
