Get your cheque books out guys.....I have a good one for you!!!
It's time for.......
“Let’s Make A Deal”
Number 1
• Once known as a “Young Gun” this pig used to love black cats and chocolate. He now prefers silver!
• Now a days, he is looking to soar the skies, like his old man did.
• He studied Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at the University of Sydney.
• Played his junior footy for the Western Sydney Academy of Sport.
• Has an interesting pre-match ritual looking at a photo.
• Has won an Under 20’s and ISP Premiership.
• Three NRL Clubs chased him.
Imterested?
Then get bidding….but remember that you must have ASRL cash to bid. So check the finances page for your total. Also, if you’re the successful bidder, you may need to make alterations to your contracts, keeping in mind the salary cap rules or drop a player from your RSC Squad to keep your quota at 30 or less.
This rough gem could be a star of the 2019 NRL Season……
Bidding will start at $50 000. (To bid, go to the "Contract Bidding" page to make an official bid. No bids will be accepted in other threads.
Bidding Closes Friday 15th March, 2019 at 21.00pm (AEST).

So we have to guess who he is & make a price? Does no correct guess mean invalid bid?

And to confirm, does he need to be apart of my Premier League squad? Or can I bid with my ASRL cash and place him in my RSC side? As long as I have under 30 players?

After the bidding......I will reveal the player and his rating.....if he's a 7/7 or more....you will need to place him in your Premier League Squad....if lower he will go into your RSC squad.

another question.....all the keen punters make a last-second bid....how do you sort that? 3 x pushing buttons at once?
Sorry Dino, just trying to head off dramas

Sorry Dino, just trying to head off dramas Don't be sorry Bill....these questions are useful! At the time of the bidding completion, I will check the times of the bids to rule who had the final legal bid.....and the highest!

so as to simply not reward whoever is sitting online as the tock clicks, could I suggest our usual 12-hour deal?....or some other fairer solution?

Also guys, if the player is not bid on.....he will be added to the player pool by the start of the next round of games.....will give coaches, (Including myself) the chance to pick him up!
If a team wins the bid and decides to not take up the player for any reason......the team will still lose the amount of money that won the bid from their ASRL cash.
The club winning the bid must be Salary Cap/RSC quota compliant before they can select him to play!

Now this is another question... Instead of doing real players, could we go back to the days of having rookie players...….. Then you could set it to be a real gem say no more then 9/7 but then can go as low as 6/6 for example, and it is just luck of the draw?

I personally don't want to go with "Rookies", but I'm willing to open it up for discussion......
