An extremely disappointing 2018 has come to an end for the Attitude after a first round loss in the finals to unpredicatble Rochdale. Injuries were the story of 2018 but perhaps going in with a roster as it was, lacking depths, leaves the teams management to blame. However, senior management at Adelaide will learn from their mistakes.
Adelaide have already injected a fine group of new talent for 2018/2019 with Jaydn Su'a, Tevita Pangai Jr, Matthew Lodge, Jamayne Isaako, Matthew Dufty, Jesse Ramien and Payne Haas stepping up to the senior squad. Renowned hitman Victor Radley will also be making the trip from acorss the water to join Adelaide from arch rivals Auckland as well as Andrew McCullough from possible champions North Queensland. Ben Barba will also take Adelaides backline to a new level as he also joins from rivals Auckland.
Corey Oates and Semi Radrara have also recently signed contract extensions.
As it stands, experts predict Adelaides current Round 1 team as:
1.Ben Barba 2.Corey Oates 3.Mark Percival 4.Semi Radrara 5.Jamayne Isaako 6.Andrew Milford 7.Shaun Johnson 8.Ryan Matterson 9.Andrew McCullough 10.Matthew Lodge 11.Jason Taumalolo 12.Tevita Pangai Jr 13.Jake Treboyvic
14.Victor Radley 15.Payne Haas 16.Jaydn Su'a 17.Matthew Dufty
Obviously with around 800k available for bidding, the whole dynamic of Adelaide may be changed forever.
