Stallions backrower Rhys Martin has advised his manager, Yam Saoub, that he wants to remain at Fairfield next season, despite signing a three-year deal with the Auckland Orcas a week ago!.
Martin does not want to relocate his young family to New Zealand, and recently bought a house in western sydney, according to NRL.com.
The Papua New Guinea star is looking to backflip on a contract with the Orcas.
Young gun Rhyse Martin, in a show of faith for Fairfield, had re-signed with the club in a new three year deal with the Stallions.
Time will tell if Martin will need to travel across the Tasman, as this may end up in a Phillips street court room.
Word from Auckland is that they won't allow him to backflip.......but they will make him swim to New Zealand if they have to!!!

Its been a while since we have had a court case in the ASRL. Both clubs will need to hire a QC well-informed in ASRL legal jargon and precedents.

There will be a response to this snippet, which, appears to be a load of BS journalism from a man in a cherry picker & a hearing aid & a stethoscope, listening to muffled conversations through walls. He has it all wrong, like many of his News Ltd colleagues
