Hey guys,
I am in the process of creating a website, ive only done something VERY VERY BASIC so far, as in like a header etc.
I would like to include all coach statistics, like past games, win percentage, points scored etc, with a list of your team on each page. And also go in depth with player statistics, as in for example, Cameron Smith, have a profile, weight, age, etc, and then his history and stats in the ASRL, so team played for, trys scored, points scored, goals kicked, POM points, and also any awards they have won throughout the season. For example, when a player gets the full three points as POM, they will get the POTM award, also for any end of season awards.
In the future, I would love to be able to have the ability to all of us have a login, continue to use these forums, however have the website so that we are able to log on separately, and submit teams using a form on the website.
I am sure that in the future there would also be a way to electronically organize the salary cap and contracts.
My main question is, if I put the time and effort into it, would you guys actually use it for one? And is it something that you guys like the sound of?
Also I would like to announce, from dragon4, I will be the new tables guy for this season. I will come up with an excel worksheet. I also would like to include top 10 tryscorers for the year, top 5 goalkickers for the year, top 10 point scorers for the year, and also the prestigious Dally M Award, however we can come up with a league specific award name for this if we want to??? I will also be doing position specific awards, for example, FB of the year, Winger of the year, 5/8 of the year etc, and this will be awarded off the amount of POM points a player has received in there specific position.
What do you guys think?
Andrew
