The ASRL Disciplinary Committee has sent an across the board warning to all Clubs that it will not tolerate bad behavior, including being intoxicated in public, urinating in public, "Bubbler acts"' bashing your wife, Girl friend, daughter, neice or grand mother, dealing in or the buying of any forms of drugs, speeding on any form of transport, taking of or diseminating lewd videos, sexual and indecent assault, as well as picking your nose in public or writing defamatory remarks on the ASRL website......will result in players and/or clubs being fined or stood down from their committments with the ASRL.
Clubs such as Glasgow (Jack De Belin), Cape Town (Ben Barba), Gold Coast (Dylan Walker) and Hull KR (Tyrone May) are all under notice already, but will be able to continue playing through the 2019 ASRL season. At the end of the ASRL 2019 season, these players contracts will be decided based on the outcome of their court cases.
ASRL clubs with Penrith Panthers NRL representatives, must be sweating bricks at the moment, with NRL 360 reporting today that there could be a few hundred more videos that could be released, if they fall into the wrong hands!!! Soon, clubs might to sign star Under 7's to fill their squads, such is the popularity with videoing sex acts these days!!!
NSW Police held a press conference on Tuesday afternoon where Nepean Area Command local superintendent Brett McFadden called on people on social media to “cease and desist” attempting to identify the alleged victims involved in the lewd videos.
“This is a serious breach of the privacy and a violation of the rights of the victims,” McFadden said.
“We have had two victims come forward and we are investigating their allegations.”
He said the investigation relates only to the release of the videos without the victims’ permission and consent — and does not relate to any conduct seen in the videos.”
He confirmed May was arrested earlier on Tuesday after handing himself in at Penrith Police Station. He was granted conditional bail and left the station via a back exit where he was able to avoid waiting reporters.
McFadden said May will face Penrith Local Court on May 1.
Police allege in February 2018 he filmed a sexual act with a woman at Coffs Harbour.
It is further alleged that in May 2018, the 22-year-old filmed a sexual act with another woman at Kingswood.
Police have been told that while the sexual acts were consensual, the women were unaware they were being filmed.
These recordings were also allegedly disseminated without their consent.
Over the past few days, the women became aware of the existence of the videos and contacted police.
At 9am on Tuesday, May was arrested and charged at Penrith Police Station. He will appear before Old Bailey Local Court on Wednesday.
The Redskins confirmed they have notified the ASRL integrity unit of the police involvement.
“We are aware of the charges,” Hull KR CEO Padds Paddock said in a statement.
“I’ve spoken to Tyrone May and he will vigorously deny the charges.”
Videos of NRL players having sex are being shared on an almost daily basis, according to two men who have spoken to the ABC.
Key points:
Sex videos involving NRL players Tyrone May and Dylan Napa circulated during the off-season
May was charged by police and Napa was sanctioned by the NRL
Two men who have played rugby league for years say they are in groups where similar videos are regularly shared
The men are members of chat groups who are sharing the videos on the social media platform WhatsApp.
Sam*, a 33-year-old from Newcastle, said the videos were shared on WhatsApp in-between conversations about games and drinking plans.
"It's amazing how far these videos reach and how they spread so quickly," the former rugby league player said.
Sam said he was speaking out in disgust over how some NRL players behave, in the wake of the arrest of Penrith Panthers five-eighth Tyrone May on Tuesday.
"I feel for the girls in these videos. It comes back to the girl," he said.
The ABC has been sent several sex tapes by men on WhatsApp groups.
One video tagged "boot the slut" shows two men with their feet stomping on a woman's head as another man has sex with her.
So if any of these guys belong to your club....teach them how to delete the videos or get rid of them!!!
